    • Subs: Electro-Voice (2) 2×18

  • Stage: 14 feet wide by 15 feet deep, with electrical outlets in the floor.
  • Green Room: Directly behind the stage. It’s your choice as to whether you keep the green room shut or let your fans mingle.
  • Load In: Any time between 6PM and 9PM; ask us if you need an exception. Please load in at least 1 hour before your set time. Load in the front door on San Jacinto Blvd. Or ask us to open the back door, and you can load in from Willie Nelson Blvd. You can stack your equipment in the green room behind the stage.
  • Parking: After load-in, if no street parking is available, park in the Austin public garage across the street. The public garage used to be free late at night. Recently they have been charging on entry but that might change again. Do not park long in the 15-minute spaces across from Cafe Crepe.
  • Early evening set times: Early evening solo sets generally run from 7-8:30. Arrive for a quick sound check before your set.
  • Evening set times: We are very flexible. For a 3-band evening show, most bands choose 10pm/11/12. For a 4-band evening show, 9/10/11/12. Start times may be pushed out if it’s a late crowd or you would like to play a longer set. Please load in at least 1 hour before your set time and plan on the last set ending by 1:30am.
  • Headliner sound check: We may be able to accomodate an early sound check if you give us notice; however this will generally incur additional sound cost. Typically we sound check the first band only, around 20 mins before their set time. Subsequent bands are quickly line-checked.
  • Radio: (The radio is down for maintenance.) We will broadcast your set live on our Internet radio station (skinnysballroom.com/radio) if you sign a release giving us permission.
  • Recording: We can also record your set and add it to our playlists for rebroadcast, with your permission. If you would like a .wav file of your set, please bring a USB drive with at least 800 MB of free memory or a blank CDR for the file transfer (typically sets are between 300 and 600 MB). We usually have CDRs on hand for a nominal fee in case you don’t have one. However, flash memory is quicker and sturdier.
